Spn_J2_Bigbang 2011 - ACE

Welcome to the Art Post for Ace, a fan fiction byunreckless  that should have been posted for the 2011 spn_j2_bigbang . Unfortunately, the fic was never posted so everything that's left is the art ^^;; In other words guys, don't ask me for the link to the fic because it doesn't exist.





A big thank you to maichan , artmetica  andwendy  for the moral support during the whole process.

All the arts are available on megaupload (too many arts to be posted separately on image shack)

WARNINGS:
- All the arts are SFW except maybe p.11 of the Soundtrack Arts (Oasis - Don't go Away). The boys are just together fully clothed on a bed but you never know how can Mr. Boss or Mum can react! 

- The soundtrack arts can be spoilery so I advise you to read the story first. They are a kind of retrospective of Jensen's life so beware of spoilers.

You will find in the file:

- The Main Arts: 6 CG paintings.
- The Arts for the soundtrack (download the songs separately below)

- The "small arts" (banners - divider - title + two bonus arts)
- A Pdf document that will detail the tools of the trade and a WIP (for the Photoshop geeks). You have a spoiler in the PDF but a page will warn you so you can skip the spoilery parts. Keep also in mind that I'm not a native English speaker so, I'm sorry in advance for the mistakes in the Photoshop Rambling.

These are incredibly, amazingly gorgeous! Jensen's beard in the last panel, good lord I'm having trouble breathing!!

I fell in love with the reference picture of this art. It's from a recent convention. I love it when Jensen has his beard, I wish I could see Dean with a beard in at least on Spn episode.

Now I'm looking forward to read the story that goes with them
I wish I could tell you when it's gonna be posted but I have NO idea! We should have unlocked the 12th at the same time but the fic isn't ready yet apparently :/

I'm a sucker for details, I can't help it. I wish I could draw something SIMPLE but I don't know how to do it! I always have to add details everywhere!! xD

This is really beautiful as ever. I guess I am being pain in you know where, but I can't help but feel like their eyes are not focused on things that they should naturally focus on, that the effect looks like they are posing for photos.

It's hard to find the right reference pictures with the right expression and the boys looking exactly in the right direction. And also they are actually posing for photos on most of my arts :D They are posing for photos in at least 6 of them (because photography is important in the story that will be posted...IDK when ^^)

Ooh, great art and a baseball J2 story! ::is excited:: I really like the bearded Jensen in the rain one and the poster art is wonderful! It's interesting how you made the b&w wall poster look like a younger version.

What is funny is that every time you comment I don't think "Ah! Here is a comment by yourlibrarian" but "Here is a comment by MYlibrarian". As if you were "my" personal librarian or something ^^;;

I worked with two different palettes that represents the two baseball team Jared and Jensen are in: blue for Jared (the Detroit Tigers) and orange for Jensen (SF Giants).

The light on Jensen's face in the poster is just so pretty. Really lovely portrait. I love the design and the shadows on the wall behind him. The blue portrait of Jared is gorgeous (again - such pretty light on his face and the highlighting on his hair), and I also really like the last portrait of Jensen in the rain (the beard and the pose are both so hot!)

Thank you! I wasn't very sure about the lighting. I don't draw a lot with a light coming from below so it was a bit new to be.

I don't draw him with a beard very often. I don't know why because I think that Dean/Jensen is very hot with one! I used a very recent convention photo as a reference. The moment I saw it I was like "OoOoOOh!! I HAVE to use it!!"

I finally got a chance to download your arts, internet has been a pain as of late. Wow, you really put alot of work into this story. It looks like a great one, I'm sad that I've not seen it posted. But your art is absolutely beautiful, there's a lot of emotion in your pictures. My favorite, I think, is the picture of Jensen on what appears to be the pitcher's mound, with the glove over his head. Gorgeous.

What I read so far was really great but I have no idea when it will be posted :( It should have been posted on the 12th of July, then we were rescheduled on the 18th and now...I have no idea. I think that Wendy gave the possibility to my author to post on August 12th but I don't know if the fic will be finished or not.

Unfortunately, I don't know when the fic is going to be posted!! It should have been posted on the 12th of July, then on the 18th and now, I don't know!! I have no news from my author. I think that we've been rescheduled to Aug. 12th but I don't have much hope. Let's keep our fingers crossed ^^

La bannière ne marche pas parce que la fic n'a jamais été postée. Je ne sais pas ce que compte faire mon auteur. Je n'ai aucune nouvelles d'elle depuis au moins un mois. La fic a déjà été changée de date 3 fois. Ca devait être le 12 juillet, puis le 18 juillet et maintenant, c'est carrément le 12 aout mais franchement, je n'ai pas trop trop d'espoir...C'est bien dommage :(

i'm normally not into wincest but your art is so amazing i couldn't help to be curious about the fic too.
you really are an amazing artist. I love each piece you made for this and since i'm both an amateur photographer and a little little baseball geek this made my day. your jensen (especially the young one in rookies) is beautiful, but my favorite has to be the adult jensen with his camera (the one in the pdf tutorial).

finally, the fact that you chose a song by Morrissey in the art makes it all even better, though i thought it impossible :)

as i seem to understand the fic never got posted and it's a real pity. anyway your work is so great it tells a story of its own, so :D

Thank you so much for your great comment about my art-post for “Ace”! Glad you liked it!! I remember I spent a lot of time on that one and had a great pleasure working on it, it was SO much fun ^^

This one was a complete improvisation! I include it at the last minute. I think I drew it two or three days before the art post!

finally, the fact that you chose a song by Morrissey in the art makes it all even better, though i thought it impossible :)
Morrissey is my favorite singer and The Smiths my favorite band so every time I can include a Moz song in one of my art soundtracks, I do it ^^;;

I KNOW!! ;_____; Because of IRL circumstances, my author, Unreckless, couldn’t finish this fic. I worked with a draft and with the first version of the fic called “The War Criminal” (that the author removed from her LJ since, I don’t know why so I can't even send you there to read this great Baseball fic!). “Ace” should have been a longer and more complete version (= a remix) of “The War Criminal”, but unfortunately, it has never been completed and then never posted. Everything left of this fic at the moment is…my art post! ^^;;

As far as the fic is concerned, unfortunately, it has never been posted. My author dropped and nobody could read the story apart from and and my author's betas. It was a pity because it was very good even if what I could read was only a draft.
