Spn_J2_Bigbang 2011 - ACE

Welcome to the Art Post for Ace, a fan fiction byunreckless  that should have been posted for the 2011 spn_j2_bigbang . Unfortunately, the fic was never posted so everything that's left is the art ^^;; In other words guys, don't ask me for the link to the fic because it doesn't exist.





A big thank you to maichan , artmetica  andwendy  for the moral support during the whole process.

All the arts are available on megaupload (too many arts to be posted separately on image shack)

WARNINGS:
- All the arts are SFW except maybe p.11 of the Soundtrack Arts (Oasis - Don't go Away). The boys are just together fully clothed on a bed but you never know how can Mr. Boss or Mum can react! 

- The soundtrack arts can be spoilery so I advise you to read the story first. They are a kind of retrospective of Jensen's life so beware of spoilers.

You will find in the file:

- The Main Arts: 6 CG paintings.
- The Arts for the soundtrack (download the songs separately below)

- The "small arts" (banners - divider - title + two bonus arts)
- A Pdf document that will detail the tools of the trade and a WIP (for the Photoshop geeks). You have a spoiler in the PDF but a page will warn you so you can skip the spoilery parts. Keep also in mind that I'm not a native English speaker so, I'm sorry in advance for the mistakes in the Photoshop Rambling.

OK I freak out everytime you post anything and I'm gonna do it again XD You did a great job on everything, from the banners, logo, main art, even the bonus art *_*

Poster Art: Jensen's face!! You really captured his likeness and mood with the lighting. The photo/poster behind him is very detailed you can even see the creases O_O My fav part of this pic is Jensen's hands, so perfect! ♥
The Rookies: JARED! O_O *gapes* The coloring is so vivid, and you drew (re-drew!!) very detailed backgrounds. Love their uniform! ^^ ♥ I think this could be my favorite pic, I dunno it's hard ;p
The best year of his life: Hehe Jensen looks really happy here, seems to be the best year of Jensen's life ^^ ♥
Number 66: Ooh! Great likeness comes with an awesome pose too! :D
Here, smile: Jared! ♥_♥ Very nice grayscale/color thing you got here!
Swan Song: Wow! His expression and the pose you chose for this are very fitting *_*

Haven't DL'd the soundtrack yet, but will do after writing this XD
And I love your tutorials! Thank you for including it here! Please keep making them? Would love to take glimpses inside your brilliant mind and techniques, you know a lot about drawing and Photoshop!

When I saw your comment starting by "∑(O_O；)" I thought that someone was writing me comment in Russian or in Greek ^o^

Poster Art: This one drove me nuts. I think I spent one week working on it, dropping it, coming back to it, reworking it. I took care of the hand because they are my weak point. I'm Ok with faces but hands... :/ In addition, I had problem finding a reference picture. I had to put myself in front of a mirror with a box in my hand to have the right position for the fingers.
The Rookies: I agree about the colors being vivid. They are a little bit too flashy now that I look at them. I always exaggerate when it comes to color saturation. I'm gonna go to India and work for the Bollywood industry xD
The best year of his life: I drew this one at the last minute. It should have been a banner and I turned it into a "real art" later :)
Number 66: I found the pose in a Japanese magazine except that the guy was very "petite". I kept the same body position but I changed his body structure to turn a 175cm highschooler playing baseball into a big 195cm American guy like Jared :D
Here, smile: I was afraid that Jared looked a little bit too much like Sam because I used a Spn screencap as a reference picture
Swan Song: here again, I found the perfect pose in a Japanese magazine about baseball except that the guy was in a very good mood and that he was leaving the field after his team had won xD

I hope you will like the songs. They are a bit slow. The songs I chose for my next BB arts are much more Rock n' Roll

And I love your tutorials! Thank you for including it here! Please keep making them?
I have no idea what I'm going to post for my next BB xD The arts will be a bit different because I used, in addition to Photoshop and Painter, Paint Tool SAI :D
