The Calendar-Wallpaper Project: Calendar-free wallpapers!

What's the concept?

During the year 2011, I posted one drawing a month (alongside other arts, it wasn't my only project) all inspired by a fan fiction (to cut a long story short, it was one month, one drawing, one calendar wallpaper). It was a way to pay tribute to all the authors and stories I enjoyed in the past few years in the Supernatural fandom.

What's different from your preceding posts?

In this post, all the wallpapers are available in their original size (or a bit smaller) but without the calendar at the bottom. It means you can now use them whenever you want! (From the feedbacks I received, something tells me that some of you are going to spend their whole year 2012 with the wallpaper devoted to The Doors of Time )

I have a "strange" kink for laundry. The scent of Tide makes me week in the knees...the apple, the ipod (which I would have to change into a classic wheel version)...it's perfect. You will be the first to see that trifecta if/when it gets inked onto my skin :)

so beautiful :) all of them but I took "that he will", "more than you know" and "last day on earth" - don't know why... funnily enough I've read none of those stories :) I write myself so I try not to read other people's stuff - I'm a bit of a sponge!

Thanks much for posting these, Madame! I just saved all of them - as I do most of your work.

While they were all incredible, the one that spent the most time on my desktop was from September, "Last Day On Earth". I'm still enamored with it. If you recall, it's also the one that ended up included on the collage I made to have Jared autograph at ChiCon. (Thanks again for allowing me to use it!)

Uhmmm ... this might make me the weirdo, but for some reason I like the march one best. To be honest, I haven't read all the fics your pics go with, but this one made me read the fic IMMEDIATELY and it got kinda stuck in my head, you know? And I think your fanart captures the fic beautifully in this intimate, sad moment.

And it's just so damn heartbreaking. ;___;

This whole project was amazing. I congratulate you on a superb job on each story you illustrated. I really don't know which of these is my favorite, so I refuse to choose. I adore your depiction of Jensen in The Doors of Time and in Do I Seem Bulletproof to You, I fell in love with your Jared in Small Small World and Next Man Up, your bleak representation of the boys in Last Day on Earth is mesmerizing--truly heartbreakingly mesmerizing, and the sheer hotness that is Jared in Smoke & Lightning is unbelievable.

They are all amazing.

My favorite has to be October. Mainly cuz i've read the story, so sad so disturbing and i think your drawing portrays that beautifully. Not to mention the technique for that man! Haha i draw myself but jesus christ i can't do that!?

No, no, you are not the only one! This wallpaper is n°2 (or maybe n°3) in people's favorite list. It's an art for a death!fic but apparently commenters loved it even if everybody found it very sad and heartbreaking. This fandom loves to suffer, apparently ^^;; I'm sure you didn't regret the reading of "A bleak Understanding in Reverse" because it's an amazing story!
