The Calendar-Wallpaper Project: Calendar-free wallpapers!

What's the concept?

During the year 2011, I posted one drawing a month (alongside other arts, it wasn't my only project) all inspired by a fan fiction (to cut a long story short, it was one month, one drawing, one calendar wallpaper). It was a way to pay tribute to all the authors and stories I enjoyed in the past few years in the Supernatural fandom.

What's different from your preceding posts?

In this post, all the wallpapers are available in their original size (or a bit smaller) but without the calendar at the bottom. It means you can now use them whenever you want! (From the feedbacks I received, something tells me that some of you are going to spend their whole year 2012 with the wallpaper devoted to The Doors of Time )

They are all gorgeous, honey, I am blown away every time you post anything, by the sheer beauty of your art. So amazing.

Of course though I have to admit that the art for The Doors of Time holds a very special place in my heart since you managed to catch the Jensen in my story exactly like I pictured him. I know you've been having trouble with the pieces you were planning for an art post for Doors but I still hope you'll manage to finish it some day. The pieces you showed me are all so absolutely amazing, I open that folder to look at them at least once a week. Believe me, I couldn't be happier about them, they capture the feeling of the fic so perfectly and are just so beautiful I'm in awe.

I also have a very weak spot for the August one. He just looks so... guh! And the look in his eyes... A perfect mix of hotness and sadness. I can sit and stare at that picture forever.

Thank you so very much for including my story in your project. I will forever be humbly grateful to you for that honour. *hugs you hard*

you managed to catch the Jensen in my story exactly like I pictured him.
That's an amazing compliment!! It's always difficult to know if you drew the character right, I mean like the author pictured it in their head, particularly when it comes to RPS ^^

I know you've been having trouble with the pieces you were planning for an art post for Doors but I still hope you'll manage to finish it some day.
Don't tell me about it! The trouble is that I started too long ago, I improved a bit since and now I only see the flaws in my DOT art. I know that it's stupid. I sent them to Vongue (a great fan artist), she loved them but IDK, if I could, I would start everything from scratch! I'm REALLY REALLY sorry about that :/

You are not the only one ^^ Most people voted for The Doors of Time as their favorite wallpaper but the August one came second (or third). In fact, it's a tie between this one and "A Bleak Understanding in Reverse"

Thank YOU for giving me the authorization to draw an art inspired by The DOT in the first place!! I SO wish I could have carried on this project in 2012 but it was too much work ^^;; It was a bit hard to always be ready on time at the end of each month. That's why I stopped. There were so many fics I wanted to work on but it was too difficult to prepare each post with an art in 10 sizes and a custom banner ^^;;
