Date: 2014-07-02 07:20 pm (UTC)I can draw all this because illustration is my job so I'm used to draw (I mean ALL THE TIME), work fast and also, I have the tools. I don't think that a lot of people here have Photoshop CS6 and Painter 12. All this combined, makes that I can draw all these artworks, in such a short amount of time ^^
Yes, there are tons of details. I can't help it ^^;;
I'm very happy you enjoyed my BB post so much! ^o^

Date: 2014-07-03 07:17 pm (UTC)It's thanks to a software I have called Painter 12. You can almost recreate an oil painting digitally. In fact you can recreate everything: watercolor, acrylic, pencil. I was so lucky to have it for this BB because it was just perfect for a story that talks about a painter! I had a lot of fun working on "The Bed" because I had to copy a picture of Lautrec xD
Thank you so much for the great feedback ♥
Glad you liked the artworks ^^

Date: 2014-07-03 07:30 pm (UTC)I think you are the first person who tells me about the poster art. Everybody was focused on the boys in Jared's atelier and Jensen smoking. :3 Thank you so much. It was a pretty complicated to do, particular the flowers and Paris shield, the one with the little boat ^^ Glad you liked it!
So you had the chance to read the story before everybody too? ^^ I sort of betaed too, well, just the sentences in French and a couple of things about Paris here and there. I had far less work than you. :)
I'm very happy you enjoyed my BB post so much! ^o^
Thank you for loving it ♥

I haven't yet found another artist in the fandom who can illustrate joy and happiness as perfect as you can
Ha! Ha! That's really funny that you tell me that because I'm known for my death!art and my gore pieces. I think I killed Sam and Dean at least 20 times and drawing blood is a real pleasure for me. For instance, in my latest RBB, I killed Sam and Dean had to put him in the bunker cold chamber because he didn't know what to do with his body. I don't draw happy stuff very often but when I do, it's VERY happy and colorful ^o^

I can't believe I managed to grab a J2 fics that takes place in Paris! When I read the BB summary I was like "THIS ONE!! THIS ONE!" and I was very happy when Wendy told me the fic was mine! In addition just a couple of days before I went to an exhibition called "Paris 1900" so it was perfect!
i love j2 cuddling in bed and the smoker.
That's funny because it's everybody's favorite but it's the one I spent the less time on (I think it was about 5 hours for this one and about 17-20 hours on "The Atelier"). In the story, Jared drew this picture as sketch so I did the same: quickly, with big brush strokes ^^;;

The highlights on flowers in the girls hair in The Green Door
The Green Door drove me nuts so I'm really happy you mentioned this art as one of your favorite! ^^ In addition, I almost didn't post this one because I found it "strange" because of the characters placement and the colors. :/ It's my author who told me it was good and that I should post it. It almost ended up in trash.
Wow

Date: 2014-07-09 07:24 pm (UTC)My favorite piece is the one of Jensen sitting on the bed. I like that it's a bit simpler (meaning, less dark and ~mysterious) than the others, and the emotions in it are so raw and real. I love his pose and expression! I also really love the art of Danneel and the one with Genevieve & the dancers -- both capture the story so well!
Wonderful ♥

I love drawing the boys smiling (even if technically, it's not easy. When you draw someone smiling_anyone_they can look creepy if you fucked up their teeth or their dimples) ^^

Date: 2014-07-12 05:27 pm (UTC)My favourite is La fée verte. The light, the way it makes you feel as if you might be in an altered state along with the boys, Jensen's sidelong glance and look of adoration for Jared. Simply breathtaking.
Wow.

My favourite is La fée verte.
Oh this one took time and the palette was a bit complex because of the green tones. I've always seen green as a color that wasn't easy to work with. But you cannot draw Absinthe without green!
This art was a lot of fun, particularly when it came to drawing Jared and Jensen being happy and a bit tipsy ^^

How do you get that awesome fluff and tangle?! :P
It's just a question of Painter 12 brush. I use the "chalk" tool and I obtain this big fluff very easily, thin layer after thin layer.
Glad you enjoyed my post! Thank you very much for your kind words ♥

Date: 2014-07-25 02:47 am (UTC)This is glorious stuff, and I want to dance around the room with it. Brilliant as always.
I love the painted pieces, so different from what I remember your style to be. Each piece is so thoughtful and period perfect. Thank you, thank you, and it suits the story perfectly.

Date: 2014-07-30 03:50 pm (UTC)Yes, you are right, that's the one everybody preferred and also the one I spent the less time on! It's very funny because I felt a bit guilty when I posted it, I had the impression to post a half finished sketch (even if it fitted the story and the description of the painting). I guess that as an artist, I see things differently ^^;;
Glad you enjoyed my post! Thank you very much for your kind words ♥

Date: 2014-11-09 07:39 pm (UTC)Most of all I loved the poster, boys are together, there is the Eiffel tower, Jared's look has so much childish happiness for just being then and there, Jensen's look is so tender, it says how much he really loves Jared. I also liked the banner with Jared and Sacre-Coeur Jared is so carefree, so happy it makes you smile looking at him!
Let me also tell you that The Smoker, La Fee Verte, Winter and The Green Door impressed me greatly. The smoker... There is something so Jensen-like in this painting. And it makes me want to start smoking though I'm not a smoker! ) The green fairy makes you want to be there drinking absinthe with the boys... They look so happy, so in love with each other... I can't draw but I think that's the most important thing about art, to depict a person's feelings... And you've done it perfectly! Winter.. I always admired Danneel's beauty, but the way you showed her... She became even more beautiful! And at last The Green Door... The author of this great story depicted this place in such a way that I really wanted to be there and see everything myself... And you made it possible! Girls, Jensen with a shiner like a reminder how he defended that Anton kid..
You are a genius artist! And I forgot to write it to the author of this great story but that was a genius story and together created something amazing! And thank you both so much! It was one of the best stories and definetely the best art during this big bang! Thank you so much! You are a great artist and your place is somewhere in the Montmartre near Jared and Jensen's place! Thank you!
