Beautiful, fantastic, and utterly gorgeous! My favorites are "Atelier," (paintings of paintings, oh, so glorious!) and "La Fee Verte," which is just plain STUNNING. (Is that absinthe?)

Your linework and coloring continues to remind me of the great Richard Amsel -- one of my all-time favorite illustrators. ♥

Is that absinthe?
Absolutely! ^^ "La fée verte" (the green fairy) is the Absinthe's other name (I even think it was a brand back in the 1800's).
I don't have the habit to work in this kind of color palette so it was a lot of fun! Green, green, green ♥

Oh wow, these are gorgeous! I can't even pick a favorite. The girls at the Green Door are all sooo lovely and beautiful, and the guys in bed look so stinking in love it's heart-melting, and then Danneel has that little crooked smile. No, but I think my favorite is the smoker Jensen, because you have that unusual smudgy (that's a very technical term!) background that sets it aside from all the other pieces. And then I saw that it was one of Jared's paintings, and aw, I love it that you actually gave him this distinct style. Also, Jensen's bathrobe ♥

Yes, she's pretty sarcastic all along the story so I couldn't draw her with a "nice smile", she had to look mischievous.

These are simply stunning! You create such sumptuous atmospheres and textures, and the detail is just astounding. I could stare at these all day long and still find something new that I haven't seen before!

I love the colours, the light and shade and wow... I just love everything! And the banners, with those gorgeous smiles and the bird animation - perfect!

It's thanks to a software I have called Painter 12. You can almost recreate an oil painting digitally. In fact you can recreate everything: watercolor, acrylic, pencil. I was so lucky to have it for this BB because it was just perfect for a story that talks about a painter! I had a lot of fun working on this, particularly "The Bed" because I had to copy a picture of Lautrec xD

Yes, sepia colors were very present at the time so I used a red-sepia palette for most of my paintings except the ones where absinthe was involved. Believe me, it's easier to work in sepia that in green-yellow ><

These are all magnificent! You can really tell that this fic and its setting held a special place in your heart, your vision of Paris simply stunning! And your author couldn't have asked for anyone better for a sense of love for that city.

I love all your pieces, of course, but I love how much happiness and whimsy they have in the headers and the Poster Art especially. I'm in love with the way you draw teeth, for cryin' out loud. TEETH I SAY! Those seem such an easy and minor detail, but a lot of the time they turn out terrifying in hands less skilled than yours! And damn, but that smoking picture of Jensen is sinfully hot and yet so beautifully simple. Plus all the beautiful roses everywhere! And YAY you even have an animated gif banner! They are always fun and challenging to, and you have done it wonderfully here. I could seriously go on for ever with everything I love in this post.

I am in absolute awe of your artistic mastery. The things you do with Photoshop and Painter-- seriously with Painter, I can barely get the pencils to work, so the fact you can do ALL OF THIS astonishes me!-- not to mention traditional. ALL SO BREATHTAKING! You are a fandom treasure. ♥♥♥

OMG! THANK YOU!! Teeth are a nightmare, aren't they? You are an artist, you know how difficult they are to draw. They can ruin a face and make the character look super creepy. It's one of the things I don't like drawing and I'm always happy when I manage to draw a beautiful smile!

Oh goooodddd. As usual, you are too, too much. What a perfect story for you to illustrate, with so much focus on art and you being able to capture the different styles of the period so perfectly. The piece with Jared looking at (I'm guessing his?) paintings and Jensen in the blanket so seriously could be one the great masterpieces of that time it just nails everything down and then the boys look so at piece and Jensen is so comfortable and charmed and Jared is so proud. Ugh, it is too glorious for woords!

I haven't draw happy!J2 stuff for ages. I killed them in my RBB, I draw blood every week for my "Journal of a Man of Letters" project (a Sam's Journal I started on Tumblr) so drawing the boys happy, with bright colors was...unusual. But I managed to draw Jensen with a black eye in the "Green Door" art xD

i still can't get over how gorgeous your art is, and how perfect for the fic! i still look at it and squee. ^_^ all the roses! and jensen's freckles! and the birds! and the red-white-and-blue banners! and the paint-y effects! for the smoker especially, i mean i really love how it looks half-finished. and the boys, the boys are SO FUCKING CUTE. and la fee verte is so fabulously sensual, as the scene was always intended to be. :D and winter is just beautiful. (in my head, because it happens after the end of the fic, the four seasons sell like *that* - like, misha hangs them in his gallery and the next day they've been sold - because all four of them are just that stunning.) i really like the dancing girl models. so pretty! also, jensen wearing the blanket and jared wearing a waistcoat. :D and the bed! the bed is perfect. i'm just... EEEETHISISMYART. i can't get over it. i totally lucked out.

I always get blown away by your art. It is beyond amazing. I can't understand how it is possible for a person to make art like this - and so much!!! I have made a few pictures for my bigbang that I post in 10 days, and it's not nearly as wonderfu or difficult as this, and I have by no means felt I have had oceans of time to make it. I simply don't understand what you are made of! Art is your super-power... yup. That's it!

Ha! Ha! If you love Harry Potter, I can understand why you loved this one ^^ However, I wasn't thinking about HP at all when I drew it. I was much more inspired by Lurhmann's Moulin Rouge. I love the production design of his movies, how every just...shine! I wanted my art to look the same :)

You know what, I think this is one of my favourite sets of yours so far - simply because there is so much happiness in every single picture it has left me feeling quite joyful! All the happy smiling boys, the warm glowing colours, the rainbow highlights - just delightful! Now I need to go back and find the del Monte because I missed him first time round. What a hardship, having to look though the whole lot again....

Thanks! The project was initiated such a long time ago that it was awesome to be finally be able to post the art online. Misha has such strange ideas but I was happy to be a part of that one and to work for him ♥
