You were SO awesome to work with! Scarily talented and oh so very patient while my life went to hell in a handbasket. /o\

Your story jumped out at me when I was looking at the prompts. I know I'm not the only one to whom it screamed "WRITE ME! WRITE THIS STORY RIGHT NOW!" so I feel incredibly lucky and privileged to have been the one given the opportunity to put (extra) words to your images. I especially adored the contrast between the current timeline, all the dark blues and purples, and the less saturated sepia tones of the flashbacks to the thirties. Not to mention the blood-red of the Winter Soldier's thoughts and past experiences, which translated in my head to the Winter Soldier's music from the movie (that terrible shrieking sound you hear only when the Winter Soldier is around).

In short, this was brilliant I am the luckiest author alive. <3

OH holy fuck, i mean, your art is always just incredibly unattainable level of awesome, but dude, this is something else. That banner has such a visceral and gripping artistry in the concept and the execution both, I can't help staring at it. And the comic panels... you've captured their features in all states of emotion so perfectly, it's breath-taking. Can't wait to read the story!

It won't surprise you when I say I knew the prompt was yours... *grin*. Your use of colour just fascinates me, it's like you keep a rainbow in your pocket. Apart from loving the idea behind this comic (and I must read ratherastory's story now too dammit!), I just love what you've done to expand the concept, especially page two - the haunted look on Bucky's face in the penultimate panel on that page, then the gorgeous contrasting reds of the flashback scene below it - wonderful.

These pieces are so wonderful to see all posted together with the great banner :D I've just been looking at it all again and I'm curious, did you draw everything then scan it in and add the colours etc? I'm in love with the textures and details how everything has a bit of grain to it - it all looks very beautiful <3 Also whining? What...there was no whining, I don't recall that, it was a huge honour and pleasure to be able to help in any way and thank you for the help on my own RBB prompt as well :)
