The Calendar-Wallpaper Project: Calendar-free wallpapers!

What's the concept?

During the year 2011, I posted one drawing a month (alongside other arts, it wasn't my only project) all inspired by a fan fiction (to cut a long story short, it was one month, one drawing, one calendar wallpaper). It was a way to pay tribute to all the authors and stories I enjoyed in the past few years in the Supernatural fandom.

What's different from your preceding posts?

In this post, all the wallpapers are available in their original size (or a bit smaller) but without the calendar at the bottom. It means you can now use them whenever you want! (From the feedbacks I received, something tells me that some of you are going to spend their whole year 2012 with the wallpaper devoted to The Doors of Time )

It was so hard to choose just one so I narrowed it down to 3 faves.

I'm already pretty busy even if we are only in January /o\ I signed up for SO many things ^^;; Here is what I'm planning to draw this year (shamelessly copied and pasted from Tumblr because someone asked me the same question about 2 days ago, sorry about that ^^;;):

- I’m working on a D/C fic for dc_dystopia. The mods allowed two artists per fic so I’m currently collaborating with Quickreaver. I don’t know our posting date yet but the posting starts on Feb. 4th.
- Obstinatrix claimed one of my art at the spn_illuminated community. We are going to collaborate on a J2 fic about a mysterious carnival. Expect tattooed!Jensen.
- I will soon work on some art for a D/C project called Spn Redemption Road. One chapter is posted a week and I’m going to work on two chapters in (maybe) February.
- I hope to have enough time to work on my worldwide_spn prompt and to draw Sam & Dean in my hometown, Paris.
- I would like to do one day what Kat Von D (a tattoo artist, star of the TV show L.A Ink) did on her Twitter: “one sketch a day” but it’s pretty demanding and I don’t always have the time.

I don’t have other projects (I’m already pretty busy!) but I will take part to the Dean/Castiel BB and the spn_J2_BB later this year :)

My favorite has to be October. Mainly cuz i've read the story, so sad so disturbing and i think your drawing portrays that beautifully. Not to mention the technique for that man! Haha i draw myself but jesus christ i can't do that!?

These are all so wonderful! Thanks for this great treat. My favorite, no question, is September, Last Day On Earth. The boys' facial expressions, their body positons relative to each other, their body language, hell, even the way Sam's jacket is twisted to one side, all speak of tension, exhaustion, and fear. Love it!

Hi, I really really love your calendar from last year. And I was wondering if there is a zip of all the images together. I am not sure what is going on with my comp. (just recently reinstalled the OS 2 days ago) But when I click on the image links they show up small. Happened with the different size links for the individual months as well. :(

For some reason my system is not recognizing the real size of the image I think... But I was just wondering if there were a zip available of the wallpapers minus calendar available in 1920 x 1080. Sorry to be a pest. And thanks!

I'm terribly sorry it took me about two months to answer you. I thought I did it but in fact, I realized I didn't -_____-

It's normal of the zip with all the wallpaper doesn't work: it was hosted on Mega upload and as the site has been shut down, the zip vanished with all the rest ^^;;

It took me time but I found in my HD all the calendar wallpapers I posted and gathered everything in a new master post on Tumblr.

Thanks for posting all of these lovely images here... looks like an incredible amount of work and personally I enjoyed all of them, but if I had to chose favourites I think August is the one!

No, I don't think so. It was a lot of pressure to be right on time every month and a lot of work. I had to create the wallpaper in 10 different sizes :/
